Professional workflow

From loose files to an organized client pack

Classify: confirm whether each file is identity proof, address proof, tax ID, bank proof, photograph, policy or another supporting document.

Review: use a generic individual/business checklist and optional expiry-date reminders.

Arrange: drag documents into the preferred client-file order.

Package: create one PDF with a cover, generic checklist summary, page index and the uploaded source documents.

Important boundary

KYC organization is not KYC verification

FormatForge does not establish a person's identity, authenticate documents, run sanctions/AML checks, determine beneficial ownership or certify regulatory KYC completion. Requirements vary by insurer, product, jurisdiction and organisation. Treat this as a document-organization workspace only.

Frequently asked questions

Does the KYC Document Pack Builder verify a customer's identity?

No. It organizes files and provides a generic completeness/quality review. It does not authenticate documents, verify identity, perform AML screening or determine whether KYC is legally complete.

What document profiles are available?

The current workspace offers Individual Basic, Individual Extended and Business/Entity checklists. They are generic organizational templates, not jurisdiction- or insurer-specific legal requirements.

Can I track document expiry dates?

Yes. You can optionally enter expiry dates for relevant documents. The workspace flags dates that are already expired or within the next 90 days, but it does not validate the legal validity of the document.

Which file formats are supported?

PDF, JPG/JPEG and PNG are supported. Password-protected PDFs must be replaced with an authorised accessible copy before the final pack can be generated.

What quality checks are performed?

The tool can flag identical uploaded files, low-resolution images, little searchable text in sampled PDF pages, rotation metadata and password protection. These are review notes only.

Are my KYC documents uploaded?

The current workflow is designed to inspect, classify, reorder and package supported documents in the browser. Because KYC documents are sensitive, you should still follow your organisation's approved privacy, retention and sharing controls.
