Practical workflow

See the cost of the whole order sequence.

Model entry and exit orders with maker/taker assumptions and per-order overrides instead of calculating one fee in isolation.

Crypto scope

Transparent calculations, not predictions

FormatForge does not recommend tokens, predict prices or tell users to buy, sell, hold or use leverage. Results depend on user-entered assumptions and may omit exchange-, tax- or market-specific factors.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between maker and taker fees?

Many trading venues use different fee rates depending on whether an order adds or removes liquidity. Enter the rates that apply to your own venue/account.

Does FormatForge know my exchange's current fee tier?

No. Fee schedules change by exchange, product, volume and account tier. The calculator only uses the rates you enter.

Can one order use a different fee rate?

Yes. Use the optional override field on any order.

What is effective fee rate?

It is total modeled fees divided by total modeled order turnover.

Are spread and slippage included?

No. The tool calculates explicit fees only unless you represent other costs separately.

Can I model multiple take-profit orders?

Yes. Add as many entry/exit order rows as needed within the workspace limit.
